As you may be aware, Town staff and consultants are working on an updated plan for the Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District. You can read about it on our website in the heritage section.

A public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6 from 6:30 to 8 pm at St. John’s Church (262 Randall Street). The format will be a presentation and group Q&A from 6:45-7:15 pm and then the remaining time is available for one-on-one questions with staff and members of the consulting team. There will be display panels to help further this discussion. Details from the Town are online here.

We encourage our members to attend, particularly those residing within the Old Oakville Heritage District from the west side of Allan Street to 16 Mile Creek, south of Robinson Street. (See Town’s presentation which includes an exact map). The presentation and display materials will be posted to the town’s project webpage following the meeting, for those who can’t attend.
