The Town of Oakville will soon be releasing the first draft of the Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District Study as part of the process to update the District, which lies between Robinson Street and Lake Ontario. The Draft Study includes the history of the area and a description of the cultural heritage value of the area and of the significant features. Join us to learn more! View information panels that describe the contents of the Draft Study. Follow the staff presentation giving an overview of the document and next steps in the update process. Ask your questions.

Background The Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District has been in place since 1981. It’s time to update the District Study and then District Plan, which provides the guidelines to manage change in the area. Following Council approval of the Draft Study later in 2023, community consultation will begin on the District Plan.
