OLRA 2021 Annual General Meeting - May 11th
AGENDA & PLANS
We're excited to tell you about our plans for the OLRA Annual General Meeting on May 11th. Many of us are eager to be back outside to see neighbors and friends, while some are still cautious of covid risks, especially where elderly families are a concern. For these reasons, we are planning a "hybrid" meeting. If you are comfortable, join us at the Oakville Club in person and catch up with neighbors. For those that prefer zoom, thanks to the services of AV Strategies you will be able to equally participate in the meeting.
The AGM is for current members only so please check your membership status here. Note if you've renewed since April 19th the website will not show that yet. If you are attending in person you may renew at the door (6:30 registration opens). Otherwise, online details on how to renew can be found here. For those attending via Zoom, the link will be provided to current members only, a few days before the meeting.
This year’s meeting will include: an OLRA annual update, presentations on the Heritage District Plan, Ontario Housing Affordability and intensification, and an update from the Downtown BIA. Attending and participating will be Ward 3 Councils Dave Gittings and Janet Haslett-Theall, Mayor Burton, and BIA leader Adrienne Gordon. The meeting will wrap up with an open Q&A panel.
When: May 11th, 6:30 registration, 7:00 start
Where: The Oakville Club, 56 Water St. or via Zoom (link to be sent prior to meeting)
We are seeking questions for the panel in advance. They may be on any of our presentation topics or other local issues. Please email your questions to oakvillelakesidera@gmail.com.
